Big victory for Blanchet over Mensik in a decisive tie-break, the kind of victory he will remember for the rest of his life! He played his match, didn't get excited at the end and I want to say that he completely deserved his victory. He was even the one who took control of his balls the most during the important points. The Czech has just demolished Fonseca, I always defended him when he was physically fit and I want to tell you that's normal given his level of play. He hasn't been broken yet in this tournament, he has improved on his serve and in the baseline he knows absolutely everything, he's a machine. I find the match much more complex for Blanchet this time, I don't really see how he will cause him problems in the game, Machac doesn't like good servers/very aggressive players.. That's not Blanchet's profile even if the Frenchman knows how to do it in phases.
