A golden opportunity
Bergs took advantage of Draper's withdrawal in the previous round and now he's playing Munar for a place in the last 16, you have to be opportunistic!
It's really unexpected for Bergs to find himself in this position, he was going through a complicated period and just wanted to regain some confidence and the pleasure of playing. A relatively well-controlled first round and no second round, at least he's super fresh and ready to fight but I almost want to say that he's starting his tournament. He's going to have to start his match well and take all the pressure off himself, he has nothing to lose it's just a bonus. Now the opportunity is great because we don't play for a place in the last 16 against Munar every day. I want to say that it would be deserved to see Munar qualify for this last 16 final given his season on hard courts! He adapted tactically, changed things and was particularly consistent on this surface, he has evolved well. I rather like the matchup for him since he will play Zizou and attack him too, this mix seems perfect to me. I like Bergs against good servers and players that he can break with his basic game, when he has to play too much it's not great and there he will have to do it. After that he has so much nothing to lose that seeing him play a great match would not be a surprise, if he decides to go 100% and take the lead with his forehand then yes he has something to do especially since Munar quickly takes the pressure. The Spaniard is good but the ends of sets are very sluggish on his side
