No right to be tense!
GC semi-final for Felix but against the cyborg Sinner, come on bye my friend 🫡
To believe in a Felix victory, we'll almost have to invent arguments. He's been playing really well since the start of the tournament, his serve is in place, mentally he's calm and physically he held his own against ADM without flinching. Only positive things to say about him, except that all that is not even enough to beat Sinner normally. The Italian is a level above with an incredible speed of play and even a guy like Musetti was impressed to be destroyed so much from the baseline. Felix's strength is being able to dictate the game with his forehand, he's strong in this area but he won't often have the opportunity to do it since the ball will come back twice as fast in front. His serve can help him scrape together a few games but I remind you that they were played in Cincinnati and Sinner won 6/0 6/2. It's a little slower here so even better for Sinner but Auger-Aliassime has raised his level of play since then! We might think the score is closer, but basically nothing will change in this match. Felix needs to be even more aggressive than usual. For me, he has to try everything and be willing to do anything at times. His goal is to attack hard and fast on his service games and then try even harder on the return. He won't win this match from the back in classic style.
