Not the right part of the world

Etcheverry doesn't have a good track record in this part of the world, but you never know.

I wouldn't know how to explain Etcheverry's lack of results on the Asian tour except that he is simply less good on fast hard courts, however this season I have seen him have good small tournaments when it was fast and less so when it was slow. I like it when he can make his serve and his forehand speak, he did it well in a few matches and has just won a great match in the Davis Cup against De Jong whom he took by the throat. I find him good when he plays with these intentions and he will have to do the same thing against Dzumhur otherwise he risks embarking on a complicated match. The Bosnian was played in Ecuador to defend the colors of his country, he won one match before losing the second and it was on clay. He has a huge trip to make to get to China and a surface transition that is never easy, I don't like at all the conditions in which he arrives. Etcheverry had a shorter trip, he won his match and made a good impression on me, I don't really like the back this season but I think this time it's the right one
