Two very different left-handers

Completely opposite profiles and playing styles, who has the advantage?

I was quite impressed by Zeppieri's match yesterday, so yes he's playing against a Chinese player who isn't exceptional but from his side it was powerful, clean and aggressive. A performance that makes me think of those few tournaments in the year where the guy is hard to beat. He can play well on hard courts, already because he has a really good serve quality but also because he tries a lot. So yes there is some waste but it's part of his game and when everything clicks it's strong. He will make the play and Tien will find himself in a situation where he has to play the extra shot until the Italian cracks. It's not bad for him, he is very mobile, plays well in reception and can break the rhythm too. As often in this kind of match it's one extreme or another, I can see Tien managing to contain the power of Zeppieri but the Italian can also be particularly effective and unplayable (especially since it should still be indoors). We also have a left-handed/left-handed matchup which doesn't help.
