Great finale!

Bublik has already won four titles this season, including a Masters race. He seems unstoppable!

Indeed, few people imagine him losing today. The conditions are conducive to his game, the motivation with the Masters is there, winning another tournament is always great, his experience in the final, and his professionalism this season. Result? He leaves at 1.28, and will not rise above 1.35 pre-match in my opinion. A small stat that I also saw: 8 points lost in 3 matches on his first serve. Well... Let's talk about Val instead ;). Playing wonderfully, his tennis resembles Sinner's. He attacks on every shot, and he is courageous. He didn't get caught up in Corentin Moutet's variation, and played it well tactically. Against Bublik, it's a different story. The Kazak serves much better, is more powerful, and knows how to defend very well too. He's simply the toughest opponent of the tournament for Valentin. I'm not worried about him developing inferiority complexes and/or handling his final emotionally poorly. He's played quite a few, and mentally he's very solid. It's more on a tennis level. He's going to have a lot of trouble breaking Bublik, and in the rally, it's not so easy either. Moutet's drop shots bothered Val when they were well hit because he knew he had to arrive and not think too much and hit them hard. But even without counting on Bublik's creativity (and Val's lack of variation), I find the Kazak to be above. Val's somewhat monolithic, rhythmic playing style isn't what bothers him the most. In short, I don't really believe it...
