Some good gaps

The backhand quality of these two players is opposite, but otherwise it's a good match.

Vukic got out of a good match against Dzumhur, in the end the conditions on their court weren't that fast and he found resources to finish this match better than Dzumhur. I find him physically good, clean in his game and simple, he very often holds his own and can make some outbursts. His level is more stable but not as high as Altmaier, the German has low periods then he is capable of competing with almost everyone on the circuit when he is good. You have to be able to understand him and even if his victory against Shapovalov was a little strange (quite a bit of luck and a Shapo who sabotages himself too), he takes it and can continue. He arrived early here and has apparently prepared well for this tournament, Vukic comes out of the qualifiers so not really an advantage on this point. As for the matchup itself, I like Altmaier's game because he can serve well (but not as much as Vukic) and he also knows how to alternate between defense and attack where Vukic is more one-sided. On the other hand, the Australian is more consistent in what he will offer and that's annoying for Altmaier who can also get excited on his own. If I judge on the very recent form, I rather give Vukic the winner but if Altmaier is having a good week then I prefer him
