Nakashima once again got out of a complicated match by remaining calm and composed, he was moved around well by Thompson but he doubts very little. He's a bit of a robot, everything he does is simple, even basic, but he manages to repeat it often without making too many mistakes, he's a real tough player to beat with few gaps. We can say the same thing about Fucsovics only when he's involved, he has had big gaps in his seasons but for some time now he's been in good form. He's coming out of the qualifiers and has just beaten Tiafoe with greater consistency and remarkable seriousness. We have a somewhat similar matchup in the sense that they like to work each other from the back, are not afraid of long rallies and it's set to last. I still appreciate the quality of Fucsovics' return which is better and which can play a big role in this match, if he limits the free points on Nakashima's serve then in the game I think he has a good chance of wearing him down. It's a close match and we have to figure out which one makes you want to bet on it a bit more. I don't have a huge argument that will lean one way or the other.
