Rune as a big outsider?
A relatively open part of the table for Rune who should go to the semi-finals if he holds his position!
Unfortunately, when you expect to see good Ruud, he disappoints. It was a bit the opposite in the first round for me. I expected him to be a bit tired and in danger against Medjedovic, and he was actually struggling throughout the first set, he even deserved to lose it. But against a formidable server and overpowering player. Quinn serves very well, but a little less well than Medjedovic, and he is less powerful. The American can play very well, but we see him blocking against certain players in particular. It all depends on his ability to get free points against Rune because otherwise he will be countered, and basically I put Rune well above him. The Dane struggles a bit on the return, but in the game, it was not bad at all in the first round, and we must not forget that he was also coming back from the Laver Cup. He adapted and got out of a good little trap, and now I imagine him being able to unfold. And as is often the case with him, it's when we have expectations that we are disappointed, so do you think he's going to impose himself or do anything?
