Cazaux has been a bit of a survivor in several matches recently, everything seems to be going his way.

Victory after retirement in qualifying, victory against a cramped Shang today, victory 7/6 in the last against Wong, victory 7/5 in the last against Arnaldi.. There are a lot of matches going in his favor (not the one against Moutet), it shows great confidence and he concretizes it by playing offensively when necessary on important points! He goes for his matches and it's a big positive point, I'm not a fan of his general level at the moment but you have to respect him because he's hard to beat at the moment. It will take a little more to hope to beat Mensik but the Czech is frankly beatable, he did well with his victory in 2 sets against Kecmanovic and still doesn't give me confidence in slow conditions personally. I find that when his serve isn't there to save him he quickly struggles from the baseline. I like Cazaux's profile, he alternates between playing and creating play and that's typically what's needed against Mensik, plus Cazaux serves well and can challenge him a bit on that side too. I'm not going to lay Mensik for no reason, I need good odds otherwise I'll just move on
