How will the newly crowned Laver Cup champion perform?

Well, perhaps Opelka was not the reason they won. He lost both his single and double matches in the Laver Cup... anyway! We know that Bonzi does not like this kind of matchup, where he will be rushed... by opponents that don't allow him to play his game! We saw a good Bonzi in Cincinnati and the USO. Then he had a rough rematch against Marozsan in Beijing, losing in straight sets (same as in Washington). So, Bonzi has lost to Marozsan twice this year and beaten Medvedev twice... that should give you an idea of what kind of player he prefers to play against ;) He is much better when he can construct points and use his skills in the forecourt, something he doesn't really get to do when the points are short and he doesn't have time. And yes, we know what category of those two Opelka is in. However, it should be at least a bit easier than against Marozsan. Opelka's return is not as good as Marozsan's, which should make it easier for Bonzi to get through his service games. Yes, Opelka's serve is better, but he was not really making an impact on Marozsan's serve either. Another thing to keep in mind is that Marozsan loves facing other Attacking Baseliners (Bonzi), while Opelka tends to do better against more defensive players like Solid Baseliners/Counterpunchers. So, maybe Bonzi has a chance? ;)
