And quite a few tournaments where he loses in the first round. As if there’s a click once a certain level of confidence is reached. Will he therefore play well here? There’s a chance, yes. Now, Gio’s game is tricky for him because the Italian will have few chances on return, and will face constant pressure on his serve. He absolutely needs to take the initiative in rallies. But in those moments, will he have gained enough confidence? Argh, I find it so hard to believe in this game... Even less so against a profile that demands a certain mental strength. Which means I think we don't have many betting options left...
