The impossible has already been achieved

Beating Sinner is already an exploit, but beating Sinner in a Grand Slam is almost a miracle — and Altmaier has already done it!

Well, it was on clay and since then Sinner has changed dimension again, so that’s something to take into account even if you don’t really take it into account. And Altmaier is known for being a good Grand Slam player too… The task looks even harder on this surface and Sinner just won a title as well, not much to make you want to lay him except that he has to play again pretty quickly. Alcaraz withdrew from this tournament but he has to manage his ankle, I understand that Sinner wants to keep going especially since he’s trying to progress his playing style and nothing beats official matches. Now even for a guy like Sinner coming back so soon after a title isn’t that simple and opposite him will be an Altmaier fired up like never before, the German loves these matches and lives for them, I don’t know if he was already driven in R1 but apparently he steamrolled Schoolkate. I want to say that as usual laying Sinner is hard to pull off but this time I’m quite tempted.
