Advantage in form or potential?

Arnaldi has the talent and the level to be a top player but it is clear that this season he is not there at all.

Arnaldi is searching for himself this season, he has often been hampered by injuries which prevented him from training properly for several periods and it shows on the court. He is still searching for his game and for the moment we can't say that it's good. The indoor season is not going to help him too much logically, it's not at all what he prefers, he is more comfortable outdoors to use his counter-attacking skills, his movement. He could well play fast indoors only if his serve returns and he also finds confidence in his forehand, his problem is the lack of rhythm and certainty there right away. And Hanfmann is the perfect example, his maximum level is surely not as high on the other hand we see that at the moment with all the confidence accumulated he is capable of surfing on it to chain the matches at the top level! Since his Asian tour he has been good and has just proven it to me again by playing well in qualifying (the set he dropped against the young Belgian in the second round is not worrying, both sides were playing well). I find him really strong right now and that is not the case with Arnaldi, logic would dictate that the Italian lacks conviction in the important moments and that he is a little more delicate on his service games.. First confrontation too, a little round of waiting before seeing the favorite win?
