Are we turning the good UTS vibe into a "real" win?

Cerundolo just won the UTS by beating Mannarino, Rublev, and Brooksby. This competition should obviously be put into perspective, but it’s always good for confidence and shows that his level is there. Cerundolo is first and foremost a clay-court player, but he’s one of those who can play pretty much anywhere and he’s already proven it; his shot quality can do damage on faster surfaces. Across the net is Michelsen, whom I used to rate highly but now find generally disappointing. He’s coming off a semifinal in Almaty, but it was a bit deceptive in my view; I didn’t find him convincing there. He notably got through his quarter against Mochizuki, who cracked even though he was in control. In relatively slow indoor conditions, I give the edge to the Argentine, who seems more solid and capable of countering Michelsen’s offensive game.
