Another Battle for Borges?

The Portuguese has a habit of making matches interesting when he is a big favorite...

Borges played a good match against Medvedev in Vienna but was unable to follow it up, getting completely outclassed by Tien in Paris. Nuno was unable to find many forehands due to the way Tien targeted his backhand, and there was a lot of frustration early on, which led to some wild unforced errors. He did almost push it to a deciding set, but that was mainly due to a poor service game from Tien while serving for the match... to conclude - not the best Borges performance. With Tsitsipas' decline, it's time for some new Greek players to step up (someone else than Pavlos & Petros) - enter Stefanos 2.0 (Sakellaridis). I haven't watched him play a lot, but from what I've seen, he has a decent serve and forehand. I do like the fact that he already has some good exposure to big matches... he played a good match against Fonseca recently in the Davis Cup! Actually, that should be quite a huge benefit, cause the atmosphere and nerves tend to be a big issue for the "newer players". While Borges' flat striking will suit these courts due to the bounce, I still find him better on medium-paced courts, where he can work his way properly in rallies. While Borges tends to be professional, we still have to put up a potential question mark about his motivation here, especially going up against a wildcard that should be really motivated! Nuno is also someone whom I tend to prefer when he is an underdog, since he has a habit of making matches complicated when he is heavily favored...
