Fourth meeting between Shelton and Sinner this year, the American still hasn't managed to win a set and the current trend isn't heading that way..

I don’t feel like we’re seeing a bad Shelton in the first two matches—he squandered set chances against Zverev while playing at a really high level in the second set, then against FAA he was in front before clearly getting outplayed at the end. He’s really forcing it attitude‑wise; we’re seeing the fired‑up early‑season Shelton who pumps himself up a lot, but to me that’s more to make up for a level of play that isn’t as good as it was before the US Open. He’s got less pop on the forehand, and he feels it, so he’s trying to reignite the spark. We can count on him to believe 100% tomorrow, though—he loves this kind of match and he won’t hang his head and accept defeat. He’ll fight, but that’s really all he’ll have going for him, because across the net you’ve got the best player in the world in these conditions. Sinner cooled off an excellent Zverev with monstrous efficiency—he was pushed around and I agree with Zverev that the scoreline is a bit harsh. But in the end Sinner wins and it’s deserved; the Italian will be incredibly tough to beat again tomorrow. You can’t say Shelton is clutch right now; on the contrary, Sinner looks even sharper in those moments. Benny will first have to create chances and then convert them. When I look at Zverev’s match and he still ends up losing in two quick sets, it’s hard for me to imagine Shelton doing better (in terms of level of play, anyway). Maybe he can scrape a few games here and there by tweaking his tactics and catching fire for 30 minutes, but over the distance I absolutely don’t buy it. Once again we’re in a tricky spot for bets—very few options at awkward odds.
