Marcinko is clearly the future of Croatian tennis, the natural successor to Vekic. A realatomic bomb that’s exploded onto the tour : ultra complete, aggressive, comfortableon hard as well as on clay, with an impressive ability to impose her own pace.2025 was a breakthrough season:top 100 shattered,5 major titles (4 ITF 75/100 + theRome WTA 125), not to mentiona doubles title indoors. She can do everything, and above allshe’s not afraid of anyone. At this pace, a WTA title this season seems inevitable!I’ve rarely seensuch dedication to tennis and suchtotal confidence in her game. Obviously, first match of the season and all,a little adjustment period is possible.On the other side of the net,Camila Osorio is still an excellent clay-courter, comfortable in heavy, slower rallies with low bounce.But here, the conditions are too fast for her game, and she doesn’t have the power needed to really trouble Marcinko.
