The 3 Cs
"Cabeza, corazon y cojones," as Carlito’s grandfather used to say (hence his CCC tattoo ;)). Translation just in case: head, heart and courage. And of course, it makes me think of Coleman Wong!
The Hong Kong player uses all three of these ingredients when he's at home, and everyone's wary of him! But how far will he go? Victories against Navone and Diallo, and two doubles wins as well, both in super tie-breaks. He's got heart, but for how long? He gave a lot emotionally against Diallo, and I think that could be a factor if we have a real battle. As for the rest, Coleman Wong will have to play the aggressive tennis he knows how to do to trouble Loré. A very different match from the one against Diallo, in which he'll have more time to construct his points. I think he can really bother the Italian, at least for a set, because he has the playing style for it, and Musetti is still finding his feet. His match against Etcheverry was certainly commendable, but he's not yet at his best. And at these odds, we know where the value lies, if there is any value at all...
