Real fake suspense?
I have a somewhat ready‑made opinion about this match...
Exactly, and I haven’t seen the odds yet, but for me, Foki is way too strong here. First, the Spaniard has nothing to be ashamed of in his loss to Nakashima. The American really played some great tennis. This wasn’t your classic Foki “choke,” and on top of that, I think the conditions suit him pretty well. Second, the match-up is in his favor. Hijikata is like a mini Foki to me. The Australian is exactly the type of “player who’s playing well at the moment, very dangerous, but perfect to make Foki shine.” The ultimate trap is the mental side of course, but if Foki stays focused from start to finish, then I see him winning. I’d put his fair odds at around 1.45...
