The keys are in Machac

I see the Czech winning this match, let me explain why

Machac delivered a complete performance against Quentin Halys, with a clear and controlled victory. He imposed his rhythm right from the first games, without ever really being in danger. His intensity level was constant, his serve reliable, and above all his aggressive game allowed him to shorten rallies and maintain excellent physical freshness.

Conversely, Munar is coming off a very demanding match against Cerundolo. He had to dig deep over three sets, come back after losing the first, and play long, grueling rallies. This victory shows his mental strength, but it also leaves its mark, especially physically and in terms of energy. Against a player like Machac, that can quickly become a handicap, even if Munar is a very solid player physically.

Munar remains a player who thrives in long rallies, built on defense, patience, and consistency. However, Machac is, in my opinion, the type of player capable of blowing up that pattern: he knows how to take the ball early, accelerate on both forehand and backhand, and finish points without getting stuck in endless rallies. If Machac imposes his tempo as he has managed to do in his first two matches, I see him as superior to the Spaniard.

Between an easy win, a naturally more aggressive game, and better serving efficiency, Tomas Machac seems to me the true favorite in this match. If he maintains the same level he showed against Halys, he has everything he needs to control the match and come out on top against Munar.
