The deal of the century
Draxl takes advantage of a heavy McDonald's meal to qualify and face a hot-headed Dzumhur, with a potential 150,000 Australian dollars on the line...
Indeed, said like that, it sounds beautiful! Especially since Dzumhur has never had good results here despite an almost-win last season against the local Vukic in R1. So I picture two guys, with not very flashy tennis, giving 8000% for this crucial match, even more so for Draxl. Only, old man Draxl is already over the moon just to be able to play this R1, given how badly his match against McDo started (down in the score + MTOs on the right wrist). If you don’t know Draxl, he’s the Canadian with the weird serve who plays in a tank top with zero talent (lol). He’s a hard worker, and that’s a good thing against a slightly grumpy Dzumhur at the moment. Neither of them has powerful, aggressive tennis, which could lead to a few momentum swings. Of course, Dzumhur is the favorite with his great 2025 season and, let’s say it, his average level of play. But the pressure is on him, and we can’t really say it’s likely he’ll handle it like a boss given what he’s shown us since the start of 2026. From a betting point of view, we’re going for a real dogfight, then…
