Enjoy yourself, big guy!
After an epic battle won against Wu in 5 sets and a promising start to the year, it’s time to have some fun against Sinner on center court!
I'm not going to dangle a bet on Spizzirri this time. Facing Sinner is generally mission impossible to beat, but after battling for five sets, I don't see how he could manage it. The game is the same: Spizzirri plays incredibly cleanly on both sides, but he doesn't vary his shots much and plays at a very fast pace. Sinner just does everything better than him in the same style. Maybe a hot set from Spizzirri, who's brimming with confidence and will play loose, but then what? It's hard to see what happens next. The only other question mark is the heat. The conditions are extreme tomorrow, and Sinner doesn't like it when it's too hot. If he really suffers from heat exhaustion and collapses, then why not, but that's a long shot. That's all the negative I can imagine for the Italian side in this match. He's far too strong and should logically win in three sets again.
