Is this the moment for Bublik to take back control of this matchup?

I personally found Hubert Hurkacz very disappointing during his stint in Montpellier. Despite conditions that should have perfectly suited his game, the Pole delivered somewhat lackluster performances, lacking impact in key moments and giving an overall impression of a stereotypical game, without any real ramp-up as the rallies went on. His serve is still a major weapon, but beyond that, the level of play did not live up to his status.

On his side, Alexander Bublik is coming off a huge disappointment. His loss to Valentin Vacherot in the Davis Cup is a real blow because it was a decisive match for his team.

This setback inevitably raises some questions about his confidence level, but we should also remember that Bublik is a very unique player, capable of completely missing the mark one day and producing a much higher level the next.
