It’s Trevor Svajda who’s stepping onto the court here with a Wild Card. Will he get blown off the court, like in 2025 in the first round against the same opponent?

Alright, I’m going to be pretty blunt here: I don’t know Trevor very well, and I think Quinn is confident and that the conditions will suit his game. Quinn is also coming back from the Davis Cup in Hungary, where he won a razor-tight match against Marozsan. And when I say razor-tight, I really mean it: 13–11 in the deciding tie-break. We already thought the American looked good on his Australian swing, and now he must have picked up a bit more confidence. So if you want to throw his ML into a slightly shameful combo, I won’t hold it against you. As for Trevor Svajda, I’m really not feeling it given his results this season, with just two measly matches 10 days ago. He has the game to make Ethan play, to pass him… But does he have the required level to actually tilt the match-up in his favor? No…
