Shapo nicely priced again?

Ugh, so gutted I didn’t take Shapo’s outsider ML in his R1!

And I need to be careful not to fall into the remorse trap that makes me want to make up for my mistake. Other than that, it’s hard to think that the defending champion isn’t “on track” now. Sure, Jodar played badly, but he was also really bothered by the Canadian’s hyper-aggressiveness. And I don’t think Kova is too fond of extreme game styles (either guys who get everything back, like against Dzumhur in Paris, or very aggressive guys). And of course, people quickly and rightly think of the lefty’s forehand into Kova’s one-handed backhand. It’s harder to return, and even though Kova’s backhand is good, when you’re playing a lefty you can usually exploit your big weapon less: the forehand. Their last match ended in a proper beating by Shapo on top of that. Okay, sure, Shapo was on fire before and during that final against Kova, but don’t we kind of have the same setup here, with Shapo as the defending champion this time? The Canadian played some good aggressive tennis that bothered Kova, especially on the backhand side. So, it’s hard to imagine an upset here… But does that mean we should go for Shapo’s ML?
