And 1–1 in head-to-heads as well, and both matches were tight. That doesn’t help me much… Especially since I find both of them in good form. Shapo is putting on a show, especially on serve. And Foki is doing classic Foki. Foki doesn’t like it when you attack him too much (see Lehecka at Roland), and Shapo doesn’t like it when a guy is able to neutralize his power. Their semi in Acapulco last year lived up to all expectations with a break / break-back in set 1 and a tight match decided in two tiebreaks. You really have to gauge how much Foki will be able to counter Shapo to the point of potentially reminding him that he’s an erratic player in every area of the game. So I’ll probably go with an over, imagining swings in momentum back and forth. Last little note: Shapo has only been playing well again since Dallas, unlike Foki who has become much more consistent. But when Shapo is hot, he hits incredibly hard…
