Alright, I’m going to go over everything again so I don’t get too carried away. Jodar took a heavy loss against a good, very aggressive Shapo. It wasn’t Jodar who collapsed, it was really Shapo who dominated. The Spaniard is playing well, but he hasn’t yet proven he can win regularly against real main-tour players. He was the favorite for a good part of the pre-match market against Shapo, and he’s the favorite again here against Quinn. Even though Quinn is an aggressor too, like Shapo, and I actually think he’s in pretty decent form. His matches in Dallas are of good quality, especially considering he was coming back from Davis Cup played in Hungary on clay. Now he’s had time to prepare, and he’s facing an opponent who’s at a lower level than Marin Cilic. The conditions? Yes, it’s slower. And yes, it’s windy today. Enough to even things out. I get it.
