Hard to get back into it, right?
After a title at home and a ton of emotions, Cerundolo already has to keep going...
The biggest moment of his career – that’s how Cerundolo himself put it to show just how important it was for him to finally get this title at home after two failed finals! He wanted it so badly, and now that it’s done I don’t really know what his motivation in Rio will be. Either he’s still over the moon and plays his tennis with such freedom that everything goes in, or he really celebrated the title and is just turning up to collect his check, and that’s not going to be pretty to watch... I have absolutely no idea how to price this, to be honest. I just know the conditions suit him, but they also suit Navone, who will obviously be fully motivated since he’s been winning very little lately. If he starts defending everything and Cerundolo doesn’t really feel like tightening up his game or fighting, then yeah, there’s huge value on him; but if it’s the opposite, Cerundolo is still supposed to roll over him…
