Opportunity to seize for Royer in an open duel

Herbert freed up, a context conducive to a tight match

Valentin Royer still hasn’t opened his win account in 2026, but the recent signs are encouraging. At ATP Rotterdam, he came very close to a victory against Christopher O'Connell, missing a match point in a match where his level of play was generally solid.
