No surprise in this matchup, I don’t see how anyone can believe in a win or even a set for Popyrin given the disastrous start to the season he’s having. He took advantage of a ghost in the first round to grab his first win of the season, and now he’s facing the complete opposite! Sinner was honestly very good in his R1 against Machac, and it wasn’t an easy first round either, so now that he’s really into his tournament I don’t see how Popyrin can stop him. Sinner should win 2–0 easily.
