A match without value?
Given Korda's level at the moment, do we really want to try anything else here?
Cobolli can always be dangerous, even more so in these conditions. He knows he'll have to make Korda work as much as possible from the baseline if he wants to have any hope of winning. On the other hand, he's much less structured at the moment. What I really like about Korda is the calm he radiates. Even when he's down a break, he just keeps doing the work. Like Tommy Paul, he's at home here, and his parents are watching him play. And another important argument that makes me lean his way is that he doesn’t seem tired at all. You get the feeling he’s managing his effort, but I think he’s got the engine, and that after a long, tough rally, he’s not too out of breath. So for me, a Cobolli who will give everything and surely bother the American from the back of the court, but a win for Korda, who is the more solid man right now.
