A rematch less than a week after the first one. Daniil played a great match before being very disappointing against Tsitsipas, and Shang didn’t look fully fit, as happens far too often unfortunately.

The quick conditions are theoretically better than in Doha for both players, who don’t like it when things are too slow.

I’ll go through this analysis fairly quickly because I don’t see many differences compared to the Doha match. Shang offers no physical guarantees, so it’s impossible to imagine a bet on him against Medvedev, and as for Daniil, he’s still a bit inconsistent in 2026.
