Jodar, the trap
The Spaniard is already a guy who’s no fun to play against!
Especially since Cameron Norrie doesn't really inspire confidence today. He's coming off a short 10-day break from competition because of a pain in his lower back. His matches are sometimes good, sometimes not good enough. The match-up matters a lot for this guy. And here, up against a young player who serves well and attacks with power, it can be a bit scary. Norrie can legitimately neutralize the Spaniard, but to do that, he needs legs. He loves this tournament here for the atmosphere, but the geopolitical context might ruin everything. A bit like Jodar’s aggressiveness against Norrie’s game? That’s what I want to believe, yes. In any case, for me, there’s a real match here!
