Second chance

Kopriva is given a second chance after his loss in the qualifiers and we all know how this goes

Defeat against Svrcina when he was leading 5–0 in the H2H; I didn’t see the match unfortunately, but it’s not a surprise in terms of play given Svrcina’s progress and the fact that he’s really annoying to face on slow hard. Aside from this loss, we’ve got a great Kopriva at the moment, but yeah, these conditions on slow hard with a high bounce aren’t what he prefers. For his second chance he gets Zheng, the young American. I’m not going to redo the whole presentation because I already did it for the match against Cazaux, I’ll focus on the match‑up. Zheng is naturally better on hard, but his game isn’t that of a big aggressor or a guy who’s going to go for his opponents’ throats. He plays on the counter and redirects play well too, which isn’t too bad for Kopriva; in my opinion he’s going to put up a decent fight in this match and maybe grab a set as a surprise and as a lucky loser. I was pretty optimistic about Zheng against Cazaux, but this is really not the same kind of match he’s facing here, and yet he’s priced the same way; I don’t really agree with that…
