Shall we move on?
Tough match for Kazakhstan in my opinion...
Shevchenko put in a good performance against the Japanese player Shimabukuro. He got the better of him thanks to his experience, game intelligence, and fighting spirit. Those are the usual characteristics of this player, who can be very difficult to face, just like the younger Cerundolo brother. The conditions are perfect for the Norwegian, and I don’t necessarily think he’s out of form at the moment. I liked his win over Marcos Giron in Delray Beach. It was a bit less convincing afterwards, but he found his footing following the birth of his first child. I trust him to be focused and iron out the small mistakes he made, in Acapulco for example, in a tournament as prestigious as Indian Wells, which he knows very well and whose conditions suit him. So, in my opinion, there’s not much to be done here.
