Towards a 5/0 for Arthur against Stefanos?

The Frenchman is already leading by a wide margin in the H2H against the Greek, is it that obvious too?

Not really, no. First of all, there was a win by retirement so it’s only 3–0 for Arthur, and it’s almost always tiebreaks or a set for Stefanos, so it’s not a beatdown or anything. The Frenchman still handles the match-up well with his natural power and his physicality, he can hurt Stefanos both in short and long rallies. Since coming back from injury he’s been constantly gaining momentum and wants to establish himself as a top 10 player, if not better. His first-round performance was good but the opposition was much weaker than what’s coming next. Nothing negative to say about the Frenchman anyway.

I’m mostly going to talk about Stefanos, and for those who missed his match against ADM I recommend catching up on it because we got prime Tsitsipas, it was simply monstrous from the first to the last point. 98% of points won behind the first serve, huge aggression right from the return, and the ability to keep that level throughout the whole match, I was impressed. Yes, he likes playing against De Minaur, but here we’re mainly talking about his own performance, and with that kind of level tomorrow against Arthur, the Frenchman is in trouble. What will change is Fils’ serve quality and his power; the Greek will find it harder to attack and dictate the point all the time. I’d still say it depends a lot on Fils: if he returns well and smothers Stefanos, there’s not really a miracle solution for the Greek.
