Who can stop Tabilo?

The Chilean is in great form, and now he manages his schedule like a boss. An obvious win?

Whoa, nothing obvious for me here. Fucsovics is often a good customer in these conditions, and despite his surprising absence from this Bucharest tournament that he likes, I found him decent in training. I obviously find Tabilo smarter and more clutch. But Fucso is tough as nails. The Hungarian has shown a lower level at the start of this season, and seeing him at 2.45 may seem logical at first glance. But I find that he often plays good first matches before dropping off a bit in intensity. That’s actually where Tabilo is more enduring. In terms of pure match-up, Fucso doesn’t seem particularly vulnerable against left-handers to me, quite the opposite. His baseline game interests me against Tabilo. If he’s in form, I find his odds a bit high. But, as a bit too often, as his match against Félix recently shows for example, he clearly lacks that clutch side…
