Is Arnaldi coming back?
The Italian almost pulled the same trick on us against Muller!
And yeah, Arnaldi on clay, it’s not great, and Arnaldi right now, it’s tricky. Against Kopriva, he got through but without being the better player and by really having to push. Against Muller, he was carried by the whole crowd, but his lapses, which led to a lot of unforced errors in a row, cost him too much. Now he’s been given a second chance against a Garin you always have to be wary of. I always rate the Chilean’s level when he’s facing a guy who plays in rhythm and doesn’t come to the net. Darderi, Basilashvili... Arnaldi is a bit different, but he’s still oriented towards attack, towards creating. And Garin as a counter-puncher against an Arnaldi lacking confidence, that’s tempting!
