Every time I analyze Sinner it's always the same game line that’s in question..
Slightly shorter analysis because I don’t believe in Machac: the Czech is capable of pulling off big upsets but he’s also a player who can completely disappear mentally when things aren’t going his way. I don’t think he’s built to really dig deep; he needs to be in the fight to believe, otherwise he lets sets go and plays in streaks. Against Sinner he’ll try to hang in there and potentially be aggressive, otherwise I really don’t see how he gets out of it. He gave away a ton of chances against Cerundolo today and didn’t look ruthless at all at first. He’ll have to raise his level tomorrow or it’s going to be a real spanking, because we know how relentless Sinner is and that he can dish out a 6–0 6–0 if he can.
The Italian steamrolled Humbert, but the Frenchman just has zero weapons on clay to hurt him. Machac has a bit more, so the lean is more towards the over, without overdoing it either.
