Merci Tatjanaça suffit maintenant ^^
Marta Kostyuk arrives in Normandy wearing the boss’s outfit, with an intensity that’s been leaving nothing but crumbs for the competition since the start of the season. Under the wing of Sandra Zaniewska, the Ukrainian has found that tactical maturity that keeps her from getting scattered: she knows that by hitting hard and early on the ball, she can literally blow up any game plan that’s a bit too “exotic”.
On the other side, Tatjana Maria is playing extra time with her delightfully vintage style, full of slices and variations that have driven the young players at the top of the draw crazy. But up against a Top 20 player of Marta’s caliber, the fairy tale may well crash into a wall of realism. The Ukrainian knows the drill, having already beaten her twice without blinking; she won’t be lulled to sleep by the German’s low, skidding trajectories. We’re expecting a show of force from Marta, who should wrap things up without spending too long in the rallies.
