Is there any left in the tank?

This is the question everyone’s asking about the Spanish qualifier who gave absolutely everything in his last epic match against Trungelity, in an atmosphere like a gladiator arena. They produced a match that looked more like a sword-and-sandal epic than a sporting event. Beyond fatigue, there’s another physical red flag on the French side with Corentin Moutet who, in his last match against the Italian Musetti, clearly showed that his right wrist was hurting and he was only hitting loopy backhands or slices. That didn’t stop him from playing at a very high level, though. But it’s a weakness the Spaniard will inevitably look to exploit with the game plan we all know: attacking the backhand and following it up by coming to the net. Despite that, I feel the Spaniard is seriously lacking in tennis IQ. He also showed a lot of tension in his last match. If physically he’s a bit worn down, as would logically be expected, I think it’s going to be tough for him against Corentin, even against a Corentin whose right wrist is in bad shape.
