An ultra logical favorite.

Prizmic keeps winning a huge number of matches and comes in with a completely deserved favorite status.

Two qualifying matches easily won, Prizmic is into the first round of this Rome Masters 1000, ready to pull off the same feat as in Madrid. The Croat is having a very good season and arrives with maximum confidence, with his game well in place. He is very hard to beat at the moment because he doesn’t make many unforced errors and really hits hard on the forehand side. I really like his attitude, because he’s quite a nervous player and perpetually dissatisfied. Which also means that in the early rounds, or when he is a heavy favorite against players below his level, he’s not going to look down on them and will play his matches with seriousness and desire.

On Fucsovics’ side, there really isn’t much to sink our teeth into. The Hungarian has been carrying a minor injury since the start of the clay-court swing. I wonder if he’s only playing the Masters 1000 events without actually having any real ambitions in them. He’s only taking part in Monte Carlo, Madrid and Rome, and is skipping all the other tournaments and Challengers.
