Shit...
Kyrian is playing again quickly even though he really needs some rest!
Only one rest day for Kyrian, who’s coming in with a totally different momentum compared to last year, when he was flying like a rocket ready to smash everything. This year, he didn’t even know if he was going to play because of his injury, and here he is qualified! He was lucky enough to face a Fatic who injured his ankle (or maybe not that lucky, because it put insane pressure on him), then a Brit who was also coming off a super tie-break in the previous round. Matches on Court 14 on top of that. Anyway, Kyrian is happy to be in the main draw here, believe me!
On the other hand, you could say that’s not such a bad thing. The Frenchman has no pressure at all, unlike last year when he had to beat Borges in the first round. He’ll play on a small court, Court 6, with a big atmosphere, but not like on 14.
On the other side of the net, the famous Trungelliti, who’s coming off three massive chokes in a row lol. If you add the cramps in Geneva, it doesn’t weigh much in his favor! So you’d think the physically stronger one will come out on top. And in that regard, I’m a bit more worried for Kyrian.
So we’ve got a potentially epic match ahead of us here, between two pretty complete players.
