A little note...

A short analysis here to say that that’s it, Paul is into his tournament now. He might still need one or two more matches, and he can even lose, but he’s gradually finding his feet and settling in. That’s what he did last year already. And this year, he went and burned his legs out in Hamburg (Quinn, Etcheverry, Altmaier, De Minaur, Buse: not exactly a small warm‑up tournament!).

I don’t think Sonego can objectively do much. I feel like Paul neutralizes his aggressiveness well enough by moving well and being very aggressive himself.

Now, we’ll have to keep an eye on Tommy’s physical condition, as he might well drop a set in the Paris heat.
