Felix in conqueror mode

What if the best way to respond to his disappointment at Roland was to go have a big Wimbledon to prove some things to himself?

A good start for Auger, who managed his match well against the formidable Fucsovics, but the Hungarian was clearly diminished, he couldn’t serve properly and was basically playing one point out of two, he should have retired. It was decent Felix, but the match was so barely contested... Anyway, we saw that the Canadian was comfortable moving on grass, he can definitely play well, no doubt about it. I’m waiting to see him against a better opponent and tomorrow we’ll be in for a treat!

Majchrzak on grass is a bit of a trap, the Pole is smart and crafty, he doesn’t have huge weapons but he handles the game well. He also took advantage of an injured McCabe to get the win, but unlike FAA he already played matches on grass last week, he’s up and running and should be at 100% physically, he ought to play well.

2–0 for FAA in the H2H but nothing recent, hard to project. Majchrzak doesn’t like big servers, that’s the downside in this match-up, but outside of the serve he’s got so much room to do something! I didn’t feel an incredibly strong Felix so I’m doubting his ML which is really low yet again?
