Indeed, not great. Yet he’s got one of the best serves on tour and is an excellent counterpuncher. Backhand is pretty flat. It’s just the forehand that isn’t great. You’d need to put every match he’s played on grass back into context, because there’s very little sample size to draw conclusions from. Maybe it’s in terms of movement that he’s still struggling a bit, I don’t know. For me, the biggest risk with him is his body. His clay season was really cut short by injuries and illnesses. He put a lot into Roland Garros, and he withdrew from Stuttgart last week. Well… I’d still like to see him play on grass at least once…

On Manna’s side, we’ve got a lot more info. He’s ruthless in his own way on grass, but his game has its limits. He’ll be able to create and use the few chances there will be, but if Mensik is in good form, he’s too powerful for Adrian. He serves better, and he’ll be able to counter the Frenchman well, who lacks power from the baseline. So it all depends on the guy we’re still in the dark about…
