Jodar or Giron, in any case, the young and talented Jodar is gonna have a hell of a time!
And yeah, pretty much a first time on grass for our friend Buse (only 1 ATP match, a loss in Wim qualies last year against Cazaux), whereas Giron’s been eating this stuff up for ages!
The American loses in qualies to Hijikata, which is not shameful at all. He beats Evans before that, is two points away from beating Shelton in Stuttgart (like pretty much everyone lol), and plays a good match against RBA. He’s rolling. And just that, when you see the adjustment you need on grass, it matters. When you also know that Buse is above all a clay-court player, I’m thinking it’s really going to be tough for him. He may have great tennis and ironclad mentality, but grass is different. Giron is going to go right at him. If the American’s odds are above 1.6, I think I’ll go for it...
