Fresh off his Roland-Garros title, Zverev doesn’t look like he came here as a tourist this week..

Is that surprising coming from him? Not at all, that’s exactly why he deserves his Grand Slam title, because he’s one of the few true professionals on tour. And what better way to celebrate his Slam title than to go get another one at home? I really liked his first-round match despite the lost set; for a return to grass after everything he’s been through, it was impressive, and Kopriva really gave him a hard time too. He’s going to face his compatriot Hanfmann, and strangely enough they’ve only played once in their careers, 8 years ago.

Hanfmann just took out Fonseca by playing the perfect match (and with a lot of help from the Brazilian), and even though I’m still not a fan of his absolute top level on grass, he’s capable of pulling out some huge matches when his serve is clicking and he’s inspired from the baseline. He can also come in and follow to the net, which can put pressure on Z. In other words, I think a good Hanfmann can hang in there and put up strong resistance, but he can also get shut down at the ends of sets without being able to do much about it.
