So, should we trust Brooksby again now that he's won a game?

Hmm, not sure, and I'm wary of Vukic at the moment. The Australian seems to be finding his form again. He’s coming out of qualies here, beating dangerous guys, and quietly moving forward. I like him when he resurfaces like that, he’s a player who never gives up.

On the other side, Brooks still has issues for me. It went through against Damm because we were in short-rally patterns, but in Eastbourne he’s going to have to build his points a lot more against Vukic. And given his match against Cerundolo, honestly, I’m not convinced!

The two players have faced each other twice in 2025, including once right here. Even though Vukic won, he still has a revenge to take against the American who beat him at the US Open in 5 sets. But you know as well as I do, a Brooksby who isn’t sharp is not a good Brooksby.
